Tsuru
(2007) Animation/Live action/mixed digital media 6 ½ minsTsuru is a short, experimental, animated film commissioned as part of Screen East's digital shorts program in co-operation with the Arts Council of England and the UK Film Council.
Experimenting with a variety of film and animation techniques, Tsuru paints a dreamlike tale of a girls struggle against a dark force that threatens her strange repetitive existence. The film incorporates a mix of both traditional and contemporary techniques. Including digitally manipulated live action footage, digital collage creating the environment, stopmotion model animation, and elements of drawn, cutout and CGI.

Goblin Detective:
Under Threat (2004) 7 ½ minsA pilot for a series investigating mythical creatures on the brink of extinction, Goblin Detective is a cautionary tale of how our society fails to see where it is heading and what we are destroying. Offering a glimpse into a forgotten world we are too busy to notice, populated by Dryads, Gnomes, Boggarts and Trolls, attempting to cope in a dramatically changing environment.
Leviathan
(2007) 2mins 2d Animation/LiveactionA silent behemoth in the dark, In shape not that unlike a shark but deeper with distended gut and mouth that never quite seems to shut... A short lyrical narrative about a giant fish turned into a mixed media short.
Bioluminescence
(2004) Live Webcast 40minsAmbient puppet performance, webcast live from Norwich Gallery as part of the 'Decentred' exhibition. Collaboration with Tom Symonds and Liam Wells of NoMedia. A Giant phosphorant Anglerfish skulks in the gloomy depths whilst shoals of flourescent fish flash past its gaping maw. A 9ft Eel lurks menacingly in the darkness waiting to pick off any foolish enough to stray.

Malice.
(2001) B/W Colour. 20minsMalice is a dark, Freudian interpretation of Lewis Carroll's classic, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland . It follows Alice's journey down an alternative 'rabbit hole' that she discovers in the dingy basement of her house and her encounters with some of wonderland's friendly and not so friendly creatures. A finger prick from a lusty Caterpillar, an intimidating tea crazed Mad Hatter and March Hare and a mysterious Cheshire 'Pussy' Cat all contribute to Alice's disturbing dream. "Off with their heads!
