Conceived as part of an online film festival submission, whereby composer Trent Reznor released a series of compositions entitled "Ghosts" into the public domain, encouraging filmmakers to provide visuals to each track. |
Originally a joke and animation experiment, (The perils of being a) Giant Squid Expert, features the voice of real life giant squid expert and professor of Cephelapoda, Dr. Clyde Roper; taken from an interview I had found online. After sitting around on YouTube for a few years it was discovered by the Smithsonian Institute who chuckled so much at their colleges comedy capers they decided to host it on their giant squid pages, here. |

Tsuru was a film made with the assistance of Screen East and the UK film council. A dark and slightly surreal mix of live action and stop motion animation, digitally manipulated then mixed with a disturbing minimalist soundtrack. It enjoyed a number of public screenings and festival appearances (including the short film corner at Cannes) see the trailer here. |
